EMU Department of Computer Engineering Students Advance to Final of the TÜBİTAK Project Competition

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Engineering Faculty, Department of Computer Engineering students entered the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey’s (TÜBİTAK) “2242-University Students Research Projects Competition” with two projects. Both projects made it to the regional final that is taking place in Kayseri.

The projects were prepared under the counselling and management of EMU Department of Computer Engineering academic staff members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adnan Acan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duygu Çelik Ertuğrul. The group named PediTracker (comprised of students Hande Kölel, Soumaya El Maghlachi and Muhab Abu Zeid) earned the right to compete in the final with their project titled “Wearable Pediatric Apparatus Design and Vital Values Tracking System”. The group named GetYourDorm (comprised of students Yağmur Tatlı, Yaser Khaled Al-Najjer and Mohammed Abdulwahab Al-Hakeem) earned the right to compete in the final with their project titled “Online Dormitory Booking System”. The regional final is taking place at the Kayseri Erciyes University between the 24th and 27th of June 2019.
