CMPE 535 Knowledge Engineering
Course Outline
4 (Feb-22)
Departmental Council Decision: There is no make-up exam for Quizzes. Students missing the Mid-term or Final exam must submit a legitimate excuse within 3 working days after the exam date in order to qualify for a make-up.

Final Exam is on  5th June, Tuesday, at 16:30, Solutions (pdf) Grades (htm) (Jun-22)
Final exam includes Ch-1, ..., Ch-4 from the textbook.  Please prepare one info page for Fuzzy and one info page for Neural Nets.

HWProject  HW-Project_C.zip (zip) (May-30) and  PPT W041_p6.pdf  (pdf) (May-30)  FUZZ06_01682003.zip (pdf) (Jun-14)
[HWProject-C contains a 5% quiz, you may report the project in teams of 2-students.
But you have to report your quiz individually. I'll provide the quiz data on the final date.]
Data for HWProject-C - (5% Quiz part):  d_iris.zip (zip) (June-15)
This data set is prepared for an advanced project on RBNN modeling of Iris data set. The aim of the project is to develop a naive experimental methodology for the determination of the best parameters (for spread-factor, and the number-of-k-means-prototypes). Place this data-file into /d folder, and use it by addressing datafile = 'iris' at the 17-th line in RBNN.m .
Due date of the Project is June-20, until 17.00. Submit the report document, log-file, and graph-files after compressing  them to ######HW3.zip or ######HW3.rar file, where ###### stands for your student-number. E-Mail the archive file as an attachment to projectdelivery@gmail.com before 17.00 on June-20-2007.
Good Luck to everybody. M.B.
